About Chores bingo
Chores Bingo turns household jobs into a game the whole family can play. Squares run from quick jobs like “Make the bed”, “Line up shoes” and “Bring in the mail” to bigger ones such as “Clean the fridge” and “Mow the lawn”, plus seasonal tasks like “Rake leaves” and “Shovel snow”, so the card can match every age in the house.
On a 5x5 card with a free center, Chores bingo shows 24 of the 42 tasks, so each one lands on about 57% of the cards: in a set of 30, “Make the bed” or “Load the dishwasher” appears on roughly 17 cards. Card 1 leaves out 18 of them, including “Load the dishwasher”, “Set the table” and “Mop the floor”, so no single card can mark everything.
There is no caller: each player marks a square once they have done it, such as “Wipe the counters” or “Fold laundry”, over an agreed week or month. A line takes 5 squares (4 on a line through the free center); a full card takes all 24.

How to play Chores bingo
-
Print the Chores cards
Give each player one card; a free set prints up to 30, no two alike. Card 1 above starts with “Empty the dishwasher”, “Fold laundry”, “Rake leaves”, “Wipe the counters” and “Mow the lawn”.
-
Agree on the time frame
Each player marks a square once it is done, such as “Wipe the counters” or “Fold laundry”. Set the period first (a week, a month, a season); a line needs 5 squares (4 on a line through the free center) and a full card all 24.
-
Make separate cards for each child with a new seed and remove jobs that are too hard, such as “Mow the lawn” for a five-year-old.
-
Agree on a reward for a line before you start, for example choosing Friday's dinner, so “Scrub the tub” feels worth the effort.
-
Picture squares like “Feed the pet” and “Match the socks” let pre-readers play by themselves on a 3x3 card.
-
Check the card
Ask the winner what they did for each square on the line. A full card is 24 of the 42 tasks; card 1 of this set, for example, includes “Empty the dishwasher” and “Fold laundry”.
Chores bingo variations

Weekend blitz: set a one-hour timer on Saturday morning; the family works as a team to mark as many squares as possible, and every completed line adds ten minutes to the afternoon outing.
-
Blackout round
Card 1 needs all 24 tasks, “Empty the dishwasher” to “Water the plants”; over a 30-day month that is about 5.6 tasks a week.
-
Picture bingo for pre-readers
Use 3x3 cards with the 14 entries that have a symbol, such as Make the bed, Sweep the floor and Take out the trash.

Frequently asked questions
How many tasks are on the Chores bingo list?
42, from Bring in the mail to Wipe the counters. A 5x5 card with a free center uses 24 of them, so each card leaves out 18. The shortest entry is Dry dishes (10 characters) and the longest is Fill the bird feeder (20).
Are all Chores bingo cards the same?
No. Card 1 and card 2 of this set share 17 of their 24 squares, and every card is checked so none of the 30 in a free set repeats. About 2.19 × 10³⁵ different arrangements are possible from the 42 tasks (353,697,121,050 different selections of 24).
How many Chores bingo cards per person?
One card per player: each card is a personal checklist of 24 tasks. A free set of 30 cards covers 30 players, and New shuffle makes another set for a bigger group.
How do you play Chores bingo?
There is no caller: each player marks a square once they have done it, such as “Wipe the counters” or “Fold laundry”, over an agreed week or month. A line takes 5 squares (4 on a line through the free center); a full card takes all 24.
Can I print Chores bingo cards for free?
Yes. The generator above makes up to 30 cards (5x5 cards with a free center) from the 42 tasks; Print cards sends them to your printer and Download PDF saves one card per page, so 30 cards take 30 pages plus the caller sheet. It all runs in your browser with no sign-up.
How do I make my own Chores bingo cards?
Start from this list: the 42 tasks are already in the generator, so delete “Make the bed” or any other entry, type your own one per line and the cards update as you type. Keep at least 24 entries for 5x5 cards (16 for 4x4); the share link reprints exactly the same set.
Is there a picture version of Chores bingo?
14 of the 42 entries have a picture symbol (🛏️ Make the bed, 🧹 Sweep the floor, 🗑️ Take out the trash, ♻️ Sort recycling). Print 3x3 cards with symbol entries such as Fold laundry and Match the socks for children who cannot read yet; symbols show on screen and in browser printing.
