Cards update as you type. Long entries shrink to fit their square; a very long single word is split over two lines with a hyphen (up to 40 characters each). The PDF uses a built-in font: emoji and non-Latin scripts print best with Print cards.
Caller sheet
Every call in a shuffled order. Tick each one as you read it out; the same share link always gives the same order.

About Startup Buzzwords bingo
Startup Buzzwords Bingo gathers the language of pitch decks and founder talks: “Product-market fit”, “Runway”, “Burn rate”, “Hockey-stick growth”, “Fail fast” and the inevitable “Pivot”. It suits startup meetups, accelerator demo days, entrepreneurship classes and teams who want to laugh at their own jargon, and every square is a real term worth being able to explain.
On a 5x5 card with a free center, Startup Buzzwords bingo shows 24 of the 44 moments, so each one lands on about 55% of the cards: in a set of 30, “Disrupt” or “Pivot” appears on roughly 16 cards. Card 1 leaves out 20 of them, including “Disrupt”, “Series A” and “Bootstrapped”, so no single card can mark everything.
There is no caller: everyone marks a square the moment it happens or is said, such as “MVP” or “Growth hacking”. The first complete line wins; the caller sheet is the host's checklist.

How many moments until Startup Buzzwords bingo has a winner
Nobody controls the order here, so this table assumes the 44 moments come up in random order: 150 shuffled orders on the first 60 cards of this set. With 30 players the first line comes after a median 13 moments; a blackout needs 40 of the 44, so most games end on a line.
| Players | First line | Line, 80% range | Blackout | Blackout, 80% range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 players | 16 moments | 11-20 | 41 moments | 40-43 |

How to play Startup Buzzwords bingo
-
Print the Startup Buzzwords cards
Give each player one card; a free set prints up to 30, no two alike. Card 1 above starts with “Customer discovery”, “Freemium”, “Runway”, “Remote-first” and “Seed round”.
-
Watch and mark, no caller needed
Players mark a square the moment it happens or is said, “MVP” for example. Keep the shuffled caller sheet (opening with “Churn rate”, “Accelerator” and “Platform play”) as your checklist, or read from it to run a called game instead.
-
At a demo day, give each audience member a card; squares like “TAM slide”, “Traction” and “Unit economics” keep listeners alert through every pitch.
-
For entrepreneurship classes, ask students to define each marked square, so “Cap table” and “Term sheet” turn from jargon into real knowledge.
-
Mix serious terms with playful ones such as “Free snacks” and “Hoodie and sneakers”, so newcomers can mark squares without knowing every finance term.
-
Check the winning line
If the moments come in random order, 30 players see a first line after about 13 of them; ask the winner when each square on the line happened and compare with your checklist.
Startup Buzzwords bingo variations
-
Startup Buzzwords variation
Pitch practice: each player gives a one-minute pitch that must use five terms from their own card, like “Flywheel” and “Network effects”, while listeners mark what they hear.
-
Blackout round
Card 1 needs all 24 moments, “Customer discovery” to “MRR”; if they come in random order, one card fills after 43.2 of the 44 on average, so save it for a long event.
-
Quick 4x4 round
A 4x4 card needs 16 of the 44 moments and no free space; one card is full after about 42.4 moments instead of 43.2.
First 15 entries on the Startup Buzzwords caller sheet

Frequently asked questions
How many moments are on the Startup Buzzwords bingo list?
44, from 10x engineer to Valuation. A 5x5 card with a free center uses 24 of them, so each card leaves out 20. The shortest entry is MRR (3 characters) and the longest is Hoodie and sneakers (19).
Are all Startup Buzzwords bingo cards the same?
No. Card 1 and card 2 of this set share 13 of their 24 squares, and every card is checked so none of the 30 in a free set repeats. About 1.09 × 10³⁶ different arrangements are possible from the 44 moments (1,761,039,350,070 different selections of 24).
How many Startup Buzzwords bingo cards per person?
Usually one. Extra cards speed the game up only a little: on this list a first line took a median 13 moments with 30 cards in play, 11 with 60 (30 players on two cards each) and 16 with just 10. Two cards each suit a small group that wants a quicker game. A free set of 30 covers 15 players on two cards each.
How do you play Startup Buzzwords bingo?
There is no caller: everyone marks a square the moment it happens or is said, such as “MVP” or “Growth hacking”. The first complete line wins; the caller sheet is the host's checklist.
How long does Startup Buzzwords bingo take?
A Startup Buzzwords game with 30 players usually reaches its first line after 13 moments (9-16 in 80% of simulated games). A blackout takes about 40; with 10 players the first line needs about 16.
Can I print Startup Buzzwords bingo cards for free?
Yes, up to 30 unique cards per set at no cost and without an account. Pick how many you need, then use Print cards or Download PDF: each card gets its own page with the title “Startup Buzzwords Bingo” on top, and the caller sheet lists all 44 moments in this set's shuffled order.
How do I make my own Startup Buzzwords bingo cards?
Start from this list: the 44 moments are already in the generator, so delete “Stock options” or any other entry, type your own one per line and the cards update as you type. Keep at least 24 entries for 5x5 cards (16 for 4x4); the share link reprints exactly the same set.
