Conference Bingo Card Generator
Print free Conference bingo cards from 43 moments such as “Event app”, “Networking reception” and “Workshop handout”. Each 5x5 card with a free center holds 24 of them, so every card in a set is different; nobody calls: players mark squares as they happen, and with 30 cards the first line usually comes after about 13 of the 43 moments.

Edit words (43)
Cards update as you type. Long entries shrink to fit their square; a very long single word is split over two lines with a hyphen (up to 40 characters each). The PDF uses a built-in font: emoji and non-Latin scripts print best with Print cards.
Caller sheet
Every call in a shuffled order. Tick each one as you read it out; the same share link always gives the same order.

About Conference bingo
Conference Bingo is for multi-day events and the moments attendees share: the “Badge pickup line”, a “Keynote speaker”, the “Power outlet hunt”, a “Comment not a question” and the “Hallway track”, where unplanned conversations happen. Organizers can add it to the welcome pack, and attendees can use it to explore sessions they might otherwise skip.
On a 5x5 card with a free center, Conference bingo shows 24 of the 43 moments, so each one lands on about 56% of the cards: in a set of 30, “Lanyard” or “Badge pickup line” appears on roughly 17 cards. Card 1 leaves out 19 of them, including “Lanyard”, “Badge pickup line” and “Swag bag”, so no single card can mark everything.
There is no caller: everyone marks a square the moment it happens or is said, such as “Hallway track” or “Evening social”. The first complete line wins; the caller sheet is the host's checklist.

How many moments until Conference bingo has a winner
Nobody controls the order here, so this table assumes the 43 moments come up in random order: 150 shuffled orders on the first 60 cards of this set. With 30 players the first line comes after a median 13 moments; a blackout needs 39 of the 43, so most games end on a line.
| Players | First line | Line, 80% range | Blackout | Blackout, 80% range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 players | 15 moments | 10-19 | 40 moments | 39-41 |
| 30 players | 13 moments | 9-16 | 39 moments | 37-41 |
| 60 players | 11 moments | 8-14 | 39 moments | 37-40 |

How to play Conference bingo
-
Print the Conference cards
Give each player one card; a free set prints up to 30, no two alike. Card 1 above starts with “Badge flipped over”, “Feedback survey”, “Old colleague”, “Keynote speaker” and “Session full”.
-
Watch and mark, no caller needed
Players mark a square the moment it happens or is said, “Hallway track” for example. Keep the shuffled caller sheet (opening with “Feedback survey”, “Old colleague” and “Phone at 10%”) as your checklist, or read from it to run a called game instead.
-
Organizers can print the card on the back of the “Agenda booklet” so every attendee has one without extra paper or a separate handout.
-
Encourage exploring: squares like “Poster session”, “Lightning talk” and “Expo hall” send people to parts of the venue they might otherwise miss.
-
Collect completed cards at the help desk before “Closing remarks” and announce the first few finishers from the stage.
-
Check the winning line
If the moments come in random order, 30 players see a first line after about 13 of them; ask the winner when each square on the line happened and compare with your checklist.
Conference bingo variations
-
Conference variation
Session passport: each square must be signed by a speaker, volunteer or exhibitor, and a full card needs at least one “Breakout session” and one “Workshop handout” to count.
-
Blackout round
Card 1 needs all 24 moments, “Badge flipped over” to “Agenda booklet”; if they come in random order, one card fills after 42.2 of the 43 on average, so save it for a long event.
-
Quick 4x4 round
A 4x4 card needs 16 of the 43 moments and no free space; one card is full after about 41.4 moments instead of 42.2.
First 15 entries on the Conference caller sheet
Seed "conference-bingo" gives this order, the same one the caller sheet prints (use it as a checklist, or call from it). With these entries in this order, card 10 of the first 30 completes the diagonal from the top left (“Lunch buffet”, “Workshop handout”, “Feedback survey” and “Photo of a slide”) on entry 12, and card 2 is the first full card on entry 40.
| # | Entry | Cards marked (of 30) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Feedback survey | 17 of 30 |
| 2 | Old colleague | 16 of 30 |
| 3 | Phone at 10% | 14 of 30 |
| 4 | Photo of a slide | 19 of 30 |
| 5 | Wrong room | 16 of 30 |

Frequently asked questions
How many moments are on the Conference bingo list?
43, from Agenda booklet to Wrong room. A 5x5 card with a free center uses 24 of them, so each card leaves out 19. The shortest entry is Lanyard (7 characters) and the longest is Comment not a question (22).
Are all Conference bingo cards the same?
No. Card 1 and card 2 of this set share 13 of their 24 squares, and every card is checked so none of the 30 in a free set repeats. About 4.97 × 10³⁵ different arrangements are possible from the 43 moments (800,472,431,850 different selections of 24).
How many Conference bingo cards per person?
Usually one. Extra cards speed the game up only a little: on this list a first line took a median 13 moments with 30 cards in play, 11 with 60 (30 players on two cards each) and 15 with just 10. Two cards each suit a small group that wants a quicker game. A free set of 30 covers 15 players on two cards each. For a bigger room, make a second set with New shuffle: two sets are not checked against each other, but with about 4.97 × 10³⁵ possible cards a repeat is vanishingly unlikely, and one caller sheet serves both because every set uses the same 43 moments.
How do you play Conference bingo?
There is no caller: everyone marks a square the moment it happens or is said, such as “Hallway track” or “Evening social”. The first complete line wins; the caller sheet is the host's checklist.
How long does Conference bingo take?
A Conference game with 30 players usually reaches its first line after 13 moments (9-16 in 80% of simulated games). A blackout takes about 39; with 10 players the first line needs about 15.
Can I print Conference bingo cards for free?
Yes. The generator above makes up to 30 cards (5x5 cards with a free center) from the 43 moments; Print cards sends them to your printer and Download PDF saves one card per page, so 30 cards take 30 pages plus the caller sheet. It all runs in your browser with no sign-up.
How do I make my own Conference bingo cards?
Open Edit words in the generator above: it already holds the 43 moments, one per line. Replace “Workshop handout” with something from your own group, add inside jokes or names, and the sample card redraws at once. 5x5 cards need 24 entries or more.
